"The greatest disease in our country today, is not cancer or heart disease, it is being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for."

The U.S. has the highest rate of single parents in the world. 

• 80% of the single parent families are headed by a single mother
• 1 in 10 adults aged 18-25 will experience homelessness each year in the U.S.
• 8% living in shelters are under 18
• 40% of homeless youth are living unsheltered
• Around 2.5 million children are homeless annually in the U.S.
• Over 13 million kids are living with hunger
• 1 in 5 kids are food deprived

Statistically a family household with children raised by a single mom, are more likely to have kids who experience bullying, hunger, homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction and depression.

"BE A DAD DAY" IS A DAY TO BRING ATTENTION TO THE NEED TO HAVE A GOOD DAD PRESENT IN EVERY KIDS LIFE.
